What are website redesign services?

Website redesign services rebuild an existing website so it is clearer, faster, easier to use on a phone and better at turning visitors into customers or leads. The work can touch the design, the content, the navigation, the forms and the code. What matters is the reason for the change: a redesign should fix what is costing you sales, not only how the site looks.

Providers sell very different things under the same name. It helps to know which kind of redesign you are buying before you compare quotes.

Four kinds of website redesign, and what each one changes
Kind of redesignWhat changesSuits
Visual refreshColors, fonts, images and some copy. The structure stays.A site that works but looks dated
RebrandName, logo, voice and visual identity across every pageA business whose positioning has changed
ReplatformThe system the site runs on, often with a new design at the same timeA site its current platform can no longer support
Conversion-led redesignWhatever is stopping visitors from buying or getting in touch: offer, calls to action, forms, trust, mobile layout, speedA site with traffic that does not turn enough of it into customers

Convertica's website redesign service: the full site rebuild

The full site rebuild is Convertica's conversion-led website redesign. Every page on your site. Each one is audited and Convertica's team builds every fix the audits found, on your site, whatever platform it runs on. There is no page limit: it covers the whole site. Each fix comes from an audit finding, so every change has a reason you can read.

How to buyThe button below, through Stripe Checkout. No audit needed first: Convertica audits every page as part of the rebuild

If one page carries most of your result, such as a landing page or a sign-up page, the one page rebuild builds every fix the audit found on that page alone: see landing page design services. Both rebuilds are described with the rest of Convertica's conversion rate optimization services, and the three steps are on the pricing page.

How it works

How Convertica's website redesign works

From a free audit to every fix live across your site. Choose the full site rebuild after your audit, and the audit app runs the rest: setup, your order online, approvals and a new score at the end.

  1. Run the free CRO audit

Enter your website and watch the audit check your page for people and for AI agents. Your free report shows your score and every issue it found, and why it matters.

  2. Choose to fix every issue

Your report ends with the number of issues found and a choice: fix this page or your whole site. One page costs $497 and the whole site $1,997, both paid through Stripe Checkout.

  3. Set up and sign online

Five short steps: what the page is for and who approves changes, access to your site by invite (never a password), anything off limits, how changes are approved, then sign your order.

  4. Follow every fix

Convertica's team builds every fix the audit found, on your site, whatever platform it runs on. Your job page shows each fix, and changes to your words or offers wait for your OK.

  5. See your new score

When every fix is live and checked, the page is audited again and you get the before and after scores by email.

What the audit checks on every page of your site

Each page in a full site rebuild gets the same eight checks as the free CRO audit, for people and for AI agents, each scored out of 100. The findings are the scope of the redesign: Convertica's team builds what the audits found, not a list of changes chosen by taste.

The eight checks in every page audit
CheckWhat it looks at
First impressionsWhether a visitor can tell what you sell and what to do next without scrolling.
Calls to actionWhether the main button is visible, clear and consistent.
Forms & frictionFields, steps and anything between intent and completion.
Trust & credibilityReviews, guarantees, policies and contact details, and where they appear.
Mobile experienceLayout, text size and tap targets on a phone-sized screen.
Page performanceHow fast the page loads and settles.
AI visibility & agent readinessWhether AI agents and AI search can read what the page sells, the price and the policies: plain, quotable facts, a clearly named business and structured data.
SEO fundamentalsTitle, headings, description, indexing and whether your topic is clear to search engines.

The audit reads each page as a visitor and an AI agent would see it. It does not read your analytics, so comparing conversions before and after launch stays with you.

Conversion-led website redesign vs a design-led redesign

A design-led redesign starts from a brief, a mood board and the team's taste. A conversion-led redesign starts from evidence about where visitors get stuck. Both can produce a good-looking site; only the second ties each change to a reason. The table compares the two approaches with Convertica's full site rebuild.

The principles behind a page that converts, such as visual hierarchy, contrast and one clear next step, are covered in the guide to conversion focused web design.

When does a website need a redesign?

A website needs a redesign when it gets visitors but does not turn enough of them into customers, when it is hard to use on a phone, or when it no longer says clearly what you sell. Age alone is not a reason: an old site that converts well needs fixes, not a new look.

  • Visitors arrive but do not act. Traffic holds steady while orders, leads or sign-ups do not follow.
  • The phone experience is worse than desktop. Text is small, buttons are hard to tap, or forms are painful on a small screen.
  • The offer is unclear. A new visitor cannot tell what you sell, for whom and what to do next without scrolling.
  • Pages are slow. The page takes long to load or jumps around while it settles.
  • Trust is missing where it matters. Reviews, policies and contact details are absent or hidden near the call to action.
  • AI agents cannot read it. The products, prices and policies are not plain, quotable text that AI search and shopping agents can use.
  • The business has changed. New products, new customers or a new price point that the site does not reflect.

The free CRO audit checks one page for most of these while you watch, which is a quick way to see whether a redesign is worth it.

How to redesign a website without losing traffic or conversions

To redesign a website without losing traffic or conversions, measure where you start, keep what search engines and visitors rely on, change what the evidence says is broken, and check the results after launch. Most redesigns that go wrong skip the first step and the last one. For the design decisions themselves, the guide to conversion focused web design covers redesigning a site for better conversions.

  1. Record the starting point

Note conversions, revenue and organic traffic for each important page over recent weeks, and check that the conversions in analytics match real orders or leads. Without this, nobody can say whether the redesign helped.

  2. Find what is costing conversions

Audit the key pages, read funnel reports and watch recordings. Write down what each change is meant to fix, so the redesign has a purpose beyond a new look.

  3. Keep the URLs that earn traffic

List every page that gets search traffic or links. Keep those addresses where you can, and give every changed one a 301 redirect to its closest new page.

  4. Keep the content people come for

Shorter is not always better. Keep the text that answers searchers' questions, and keep it in the HTML, not hidden behind scripts that search engines and AI agents may not run.

  5. Test the riskiest changes

Where a change is uncertain and the traffic allows, run an A/B test before rolling it out. The A/B test sample size calculator shows what your traffic allows.

  6. Check everything after launch

Test every form, checkout and tracking event on desktop and mobile, then compare conversions and traffic with the starting point for the same number of weeks.

How much do website redesign services cost?

Website redesign services cost whatever the provider's model and scope add up to: some quote per project, some by the hour, some by the month. Convertica's prices are fixed. The audit is free, and the full site rebuild costs $1,997.

When you compare quotes, compare scope, not only the total. Ask whether the price covers every page, the copy, the build on your current platform, redirects and tracking, and what happens if something breaks after launch. A quote that needs several calls before it can be given is not wrong, but ask why.

How to choose a website redesign company

To choose a website redesign company, ask how it decides what to change, who builds it, how it protects your search traffic and how it will judge the result. Specific answers are a good sign. A portfolio of attractive sites says little about whether those sites sell more.

  1. What will you look at before designing anything? An audit, analytics or recordings, not only a questionnaire about your taste.
  2. Who builds the site? In-house, a partner or a freelancer, and on which platform.
  3. How will you protect our rankings? Listen for a redirect plan, kept URLs and a check after launch.
  4. What do you count as success? Orders, leads or revenue, not page views or compliments.
  5. What exactly does the price include? Pages, copy, images, tracking and fixes after launch.
  6. Can we see a result with its metric, timeframe and source? A percentage without context cannot be checked.

Red flags in a website redesign proposal

  • A guaranteed conversion lift before anyone has seen your data.
  • No mention of redirects or search traffic.
  • Every page redesigned from scratch, with no reason given for each change.
  • Results quoted without a metric, a timeframe or a source.

Short answer

Website redesign services rebuild an existing website so it looks current, works on every device and turns more visitors into customers. Convertica's version is the full site rebuild: every page on your site is audited, and Convertica's team builds every fix the audits found, on your site, whatever platform it runs on.

  • A redesign is worth paying for when it fixes what stops visitors from buying, not only how the site looks.
  • Convertica's full site rebuild audits every page first, then its team builds every fix the audits found.
  • Most take a couple of days, 7 days at most, from the day Convertica's team has access to your site.
  • Start with the free CRO audit of one page; the full site rebuild costs $1,997.
  • No one can honestly promise a conversion lift from a redesign before seeing your data.

Website redesign services FAQ

What are website redesign services?

Website redesign services rebuild an existing website: its layout, content, navigation, design and code, so it is clearer, faster and easier to use. Some providers focus on how the site looks. A conversion-led redesign starts from what stops visitors from buying or getting in touch, and changes the pages to fix it.

What is included in Convertica's website redesign service?

Convertica's website redesign service is the Full site rebuild. Every page on your site is audited with the same eight checks as the free CRO audit, and Convertica's team builds every fix the audits found, on your site, whatever platform it runs on.

How much do website redesign services cost?

Convertica's full site rebuild costs $1,997, a fixed price for every page on your site. The audit is free, with every finding. Other website redesign companies price by project, by the hour or by the month, so ask each one exactly what is included before comparing.

How long does a website redesign take?

At Convertica, most rebuilds take a couple of days, 7 days at most from the day we have access to your site. With other providers it depends on the size of the site and how much is redesigned: a new brand, new content and a new platform take far longer than fixing the pages you have.

How do I buy the full site rebuild?

Use the buy button on this page: payment goes through Stripe Checkout, which asks for your website, and a short setup follows. You do not need to run the audit first; Convertica audits your site after you order.

Will a website redesign increase my conversion rate?

It can, but nobody can honestly promise it. A redesign that fixes what stops visitors, such as an unclear offer, a hidden call to action or a hard form, gives the site a better chance. A redesign driven by taste alone can lower conversions. Compare conversions for the same weeks before and after launch.

Can a website redesign hurt my SEO?

Yes, if it changes page addresses without redirects, removes content that ranks, or hides text behind scripts. Keep the URLs that earn traffic, redirect every one that changes with a 301, keep the content searchers come for, and check indexing and rankings in the weeks after launch.

What is the difference between a website redesign and a website refresh?

A website refresh changes the surface: colors, images, fonts and some copy, while the structure stays. A website redesign can change the structure too: navigation, page layouts, forms and the path to a purchase or a lead. A conversion-led redesign changes whatever the audit shows is costing conversions.

Should I redesign my whole website or one page?

Fix one page when one page carries most of the result, such as a landing page or a sign-up page: that is the One page rebuild. Redesign the whole site when the result depends on a path across several pages, such as home page, category, product and checkout: that is the Full site rebuild.

Who builds the changes in the full site rebuild?

Convertica's team builds every fix the audits found, on your site, whatever platform it runs on. You give the team access to your site; the timing is counted from the day it has that access.

Does the free CRO audit look at my whole site?

No. The free CRO audit checks one page and gives your overall score, all eight check scores and every issue on your page, with why it matters and the evidence on annotated screenshots. In the Full site rebuild, every page on your site is audited.
